RAF C-type flying helmet, late pattern

Stores reference 22c/879, size 3 (7^1/8 - 7^3/8).  The leather looks good with little wear or scuffing but is a little stiff.  The goggle straps are quite worn with some damage/loss at the ends of two.  All press studs retain most of their original coatings but are a bit soiled.  Both rubber receiver carriers are complete and very flexible but do have some cracking.  The lining is complete/undamaged but quite soiled and the chamois is no longer soft.  It is named to the original owner 'Ward'.  The chinstrap is rather ragged and lacks elasticity.  Wired with type 32 receivers, a soiled mid tan coloured loom and black cased type 119 jackplug.   Displays well.  Stock code H24685.
