Royal Air Force station ensign (flag). Woven cotton mix, approximately 175 x 86cm (6' x 3'). Both the union flag and roundel are made up of individually stitched panels rather than being printed. Rope and toggles (Halyard) are absent from the hoist. Indistinct markings on the hoist. It is quite clean with good bright colours and only a few small fray holes. Minor damage to the hoist edge damage the flag remains in very good overall condition and is an excellent display piece. Not one of the many reproductions seen on eBay. Stock code M25448.
