RAF Station, Hillside Airmen's Mess Christmas Dinner menu. Card, approximately 12 x 20cm. Dated 1942. Given wartime rationing, the food selection appears to be pretty good! Signed on the back by about 24 of the attendees. Some creasing/wear but in good overall condition. Thanks go to one of our customers who informed us that Hillside was an RAF training base located in suburban Salisbury, Rhodesia. 20 Service Flying Training School (SFTS) was located there in January. 1940 and tt was subsequently renamed RAF Cranborne.
