RAF E-type flying helmet

Stores Reference 22c/975.  Size 3.  The aertex cloth is in excellent overall condition showing light use and soiling only.  Both rubber earpieces look excellent but are a little firm.  The interior of the helmet/inner chamois donuts are really quite clean but there are some minor verdigris deposits on the metal studs.  The chinstrap is a little worn but retains some colour and elasticity.  All the goggle straps are very good and the press stud poppers have virtually all of their original brown coating.  Wired with a pink flecked mid chocolate coloured linstrument cord (loom, connector type 2091, ref. 10H/4887), black cased type 119 jackplug and type 32 receivers.  Marked with faint War Department, stores reference and size details.  A very good used example in a large size.  Stock code H23456.
