Tobacco tin with Nazi eagle cap badge

Here we have a British Imperial Tobacco tin, approximately 11 x 8 x 3cm.  The hinged lid has had all paint removed and a Third Reich German Army cap badge soldered to the centre.  Possibly a prisoner of war piece or it may have been put together at the end of the war by a soldier who took the badge as a souvenir.  Some rust to the inside base.  Empty.  Stock code M25586.
