RAF Type B flying gauntlets, reproduction

Heavy duty Candian made chrome tanned cow-hide gauntlets with blanket lined hand section.  Whilst they are clearly stamped inside with Air Ministry King's crown marks and 'Type B No 88 - W35, Size 10, Ref. 22C / Q 9703, Con 15 CAN 1944', the RAF connection is totally spurious and they were probably made to deceive the novice collector.  A great pair of gauntlets but they are not WW2 period or flying gloves.  Stock code GA22673.
