Russian flying goggles, boxed

These early pattern flying goggles were based on those used by the French during the First World War (see Vintage Flying Helmets p.332).  They have a simple coated fabric facepiece with flat glass lenses held at 90 degrees to each other within metal channels/holders.  Ventilated with small metal eyelets to avoid fogging and fitted with a simple cotton tying tape strap.  Excellent condition with card box of issue.  Stock code G26098.
