Luftwaffe 'used' general purpose goggles

General Purpose Goggles.  These are virtually identical to the Model 306 Fliegerbrille but smaller in size.  They have two-piece drab grey-green painted oval aluminium frames, adjustable by means of a screw at the bridge,  and featuring a sliding vent at the bottom of each side.  The bridge piece is marked 'MW' and '40'.  The frames are stitched onto large grey-green rubber face cushions.  The goggles retain a good deal of paint but there is some loss on exposed surfaces.  The cushions have good overall shape and general flexibility but are less pliable at the edges.  Although the strap is a bit faded and soiled it does retain some elasticity. Fitted with clear glass lenses which have some delamination marks but are in good overall condition and display well. Stock code G24850.
