Air Force Publication 30.  P/b, 19.5 x 25.5cm., 22pp.  Small manual 'intended to focus attention upon procedures vital to all aircrew whose flyng is over water'.  It provides important and useful information on ditching an aircraft and surviving at sea.  First remove excess weight, drop the bomb load, throw out guns, ammunition and any none essential kit.  Prepare for dinghy drill, make sure you are wearing your Mae West and be ready to abandon ship.  Tips follow on entering the dinghy, keeping it in good condition, using the signal radio, rations etc.  Further advice is provided for pilots baling out of single seater aircraft and those using Lindholme dinghies.  An excellent official publication, illustrated throughout with cartoon drawings.  The cover is a bit dog-eared/soiled with minor damage and a tear on the spine.  Marked 'Not to be taken away'.  The pages are yellowed, staples corroded and centre pages loose.  Fair '+'/quite good, perfectly legible condition.  Stock code P26370.
