Girls Training Corp badge

Girls Training Corps pin badge in the form of a truncated lozenge shape approximately 28 x 20mm in size.  Manufactured by Thomas Fattorini Ltd., Birmingham in brass/bronze.  The GTC was uniformed and these badges were used on caps. Various styles exist including white metal and enamelled versions but the bronze/brass ones are least commonly found.  A bit tarnished but in good used condition.  The GTC was one of several youth organiaations set up to meet the training problems of young people and provide a route to into the services.  Stock code U23462.
