'The Most You Can Save Is The Least They Deserve'.  Artwork by Elgar.  An original photolithograph poster, approximately 74 x 48cm.  Produced by The National Savings Committee, London, The Scottish Savings Committee, Edinburgh and the Ulster Savings Committee, Belfast.  Printed for H.M. Stationary Office by E. S. & A. Robinson Limited, circa 1940.  A striking colour poster of two soldiers with rifles silhouetted against a red sky.  Sadly condition is not good.  The poster has been folded and has damage with some paper loss at the corners, edges and lowest horizontal fold.  Some old repairs have been made using sellotape which  has yellowed and, in some cases, come off.  Where practical we have attempted to stabilise these with acid free archival tape.  Stock code BO4118.
