USAAF / USN C-1 survival vest large folding knife

Knife, 2-Bladed 5" Cutting, 5" Saw.  Manufactured by The United Machine Tool Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Measures approximately 15cm closed and 27cm with the knife blade extended, 39.5cm with both blades extended.   Black 'checkered' plastic grips and locking bar for the main blade.  The knife shows use and wear with minor loss to the blade tip, and sharpening of the saw has reduced the definition of the teeth, effectively turning this into a second knife blade.  These knives were issued with various AAF and USN survival kits along with the C-1 Emergency Sustenance vest where it was placed in pocket No. 3.  Good overall condition.  Stock code S18786.
