RAF operations room plotting plaque '1'

Unusual plaque believed to have been used in RAF Filter and Sector Operations Rooms during the Battle of Britain and beyond to display important information relating to the strength of an enemy raid.  This relatively crude triangular shaped tin plaque measures approximately 30 x 60mm, is black on one side, with the number '1' hand-painted in white.  The reverse is painted white with a red 'F'.  It looks like this may have been cut down form a larger tote plaque. This came in with other similar plaques and operations room pieces.  A fantastic opportunity to create a small operations room display.  Stock code M6077.
