USAAF A-11 intermediate flying helmet

By Consolidated Slipper Corp.  Size large.  The leather is in excellent overall condition - clean and supple but with a  little scuffing and wear in places.  This example has the leather 'reinforced press stud arrangement' for oxygen mask attachment and an adjustable buckled strap at the nape of the neck.  There is an AAF decal on the left side as worn.  The chinstrap has surface wear but is complete with metal end tip and an excellent Bennett type buckle.  The lining is very clean and undamaged with emboidered manufacturer's label and AAF ink stamp.  Unwired but we can supply the correct 'Y' loom at extra cost if required.  An excellent lightly used example.  Stock code H26496.
