RAF survival kit canned water

Stores reference 27P/8.  Manufactured by Norfolk Canneries Ltd.  Cylindrical metal can containing 14 fluid ounces of drinking water.  Complete with sardine can style 'key' at the top for opening.  Printed with instructions for use and stores reference details.  Some wear and light surface corrosion but in very good unused condition.  These cans were issued with various survival kits including the ones issued with the Spitfire dinghy (see photos).  As with most kit, the same pattern probably continued in use after the war.  A rare find.  Stock code S24840.
