Code: O18745
Size medium. Dated 3-46 (3rd quarter of 1946). A rare early post WW2 dated example of this otherwise relatively common mask. The facepiece retains good overall shape although the sides and lower edge are curling inwards a bit. The rubber is rather grubby but remains quite pliable with no serious cracking. Some minor cracking/crazing is visible on the lower section of the facepiece when flexed and a little on the harness retaining lugs. The grey suede lining is complete but soiled. Fitted with a type 57 microphone assembly and a pink and white flecked light tan coloured loom with the correct large 2-pin socket, type 614, 10H/18196. The webbing harness is reasonably good, a little grimy but has some elasticity remaining. Two of the original harness rubber bands (worn) remain in place. This mask is identical to a wartime example but significantly cheaper. A reasonably good used example. Stock code O18745.
