RAF Mk.VIII flying goggles, early variant

Stores reference 22c/930.  The frames are good but have notable paint loss/rubbing, mainly on exposed points.  Note that the central bridge 'hinge' is the significantly rarer open wire loop pattern.  The leather surround is very good and the suede backing has average soiling.  The goggles are fitted with a pair of clear glass lenses, there is some delamination but they display quite well.  The strap is a little faded and has lost elasticity and there is minor surface corrosion on the strap adjusters.  A reasonable pair that displays well.  Stock code G27010.
